How is the pearl effect achieved?
Through pearl pigment masterbatch (mica-based, food-grade) blended into the EVA adhesive layer during extrusion. The mica platelets refract light at multiple angles, creating iridescent 3D effect that shifts with viewing angle. Available in gold, silver, red, blue, and green tints.
Can pearlescent film be printed?
Yes, accepts UV offset printing, screen printing, and hot stamping. Print on the BOPP base side (not the pearl coating side) for best ink adhesion. Corona treatment (≥38 dyne/cm) recommended before printing. Sample testing always advised.
Is it suitable for food packaging?
